Jenny -- anew

I just love Jenny, but there was something wrong....I would look at her and think she's a little 'wallflower'....she was never able to tell her story and most of the other girls just walked by her as if she wasn't even there.  Although I knew in my heart the girls didn't mean to hurt her seelings.....I could tell she was upset being ingnored that way by everyone.   So Jenny and I had a meeting of the minds.  We decided a few changes were in order.  Jenny now has a new 'do' and some new clothes.....and was recently invited to Bleuette's Garden party.....
You didn't tell me that we were supposed to dress in a Fairy dresses....
Jenny loves her dog, Poo......(short for Poodle)

A new Baby has arrived!

Good Morning All....
A new baby was born at the studio yesterday.  She has been in the works for a bit and yesterday her 'birth' took place.  Her name is Kaelin....she's 16 inches long and weighs 4 lbs 2 oz.  I found myself holding and rocking her.....as if she were real.  I so enjoy these little babies....much fun to make.  One of these days I'm going to figure out how to finance "Babies for Seniors".....In the meantime....look at this little baby....so sweet!

The Girl's New Dresses....

The other day I received my new "fairy" dresses from Jazzy Fran.  (I love her work!)  So of course, I had to take a little break from pouring to redress Smiling Jenny and Little Joe.  I also gave Isabelle a new 'do'....she's very happy with it and so is her Mama.  Although Smiling Jenny is not one of my personal girls.....she does play with them while she waits for her new mama to come along.   I have been totally swept off my feet with these little girls.  I'm hoping to get a few more molds soon....The girls are thrilled with their new dresses, Fran....once dressed they ran over to Bleuette's Garden to chase butterflies....
The girls modelling their new dresses....Little Jo was so excited, she forgot to put on her shoes.
This is Isabelle's new hairdo....loose and long....and simply beautiful.

Isabelle

Good Morning...I'm so excited about this little girl, Isabelle.  I've made several from this mold so far, a couple with a slight tan and some without the tan.  All are so sweet, but one in particular has touched my heart.  She and I are in discussions at the moment...we're trying to decide if she should stay and join my Bleuette Family or move on to another home.   I'm leaning towards staying....she's already decided she's staying.....most likely Isabelle will win out, but I'm standing my ground at the moment.
This is the little sweetheart that wants to stay with me.  What do you think?  She does love to shop and spend money, which is a concern for me.  If my other girls are ignored, it could be trouble.

....but it's her face that I can't seem to resist....
This is little Isabelle with a tan....she is just a pretty, but she's isn't very fond of the frilly froo-froo dresses.  This is about as dressed up as she like to get.
Isabelle with a tan enjoys wrestling with her dog, "Pup"....

What a sweet baby....

I had the best time making this little girl.  One of my students ordered this kit to make herself a little girl and when I saw it....I just had to make one myself.  She is 17 inches long and weighs 3 1/2 lbs.  She smells so good...like baby powder.  She's wonderful to hold, she fits in your arms and loves to be cuddled.   She is listed in my online store www.thedollladyinc.com

Happy Birthday Bleuette

I've been thinking about this for several months now.  Since it's Bleuette's Birthday today (Feburary 2nd)...I decided to introduce my "new" Bleuette on Bleuette's special day.  This little girl has been put together so that her new Maman can change her entire look.  Her wig is not glued down for a very special reason.... her new Maman can remove her wig and pate to get into the head and change Bleuette's eye color.  This little girl has two sets of eyes, blue and green...two wigs, blond and brown...and two complete outfits.  It's like two dolls in one!  Her beautiful Valentine's Days dress was made by Sarah Zitzer and her other dress by Arlene Fritsch.  She is available through my online store The Doll Lady, Inc. at The Marketplace (www.thedollladyinc.com) She is being offered at a special introductory price.  Here's a few photos of her to show how different she can look with a quick changed of eyes and hair....
